Election Results

The Republicans took back the House!

Very few incumbents won!

The TEA Party has infiltrated the White House!

These results are what I hoped would happen! You see, based on what I've heard, I am a conservative Republican and I wonder whether or not I'm a member of the TEA Party. All I know is that most of the people who get made fun of on The Daily Show are Liberal Democrats and I share some Republican viewpoints. Regardless, people are finally starting to take action!

It's too early to report the voter turnout, but estimates show that over 50% of eligible people made it to the polls on Tuesday.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the newcomers in action come January.

Speaking of politics, who saw Obama on The Daily Show? "YES WE CAN . . . under various circumstances."

I'll post all three parts of the interview below.

If you're wondering how to add a video from YouTube or any other website, follow these steps: (taken from http://www.google.com/support/blogger/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=80767)

"To embed a video from YouTube, just copy the code from the "Embed" box on the video's YouTube page. You can find the "Embed" box in the "About This Video" box when you're watching the video. You can also get the code from the "Embed HTML" box on the "Edit Video" page if the video belongs to your YouTube account.

To embed a YouTube video within a blog post, first click "Edit HTML" from within the post editor. Next, paste the video's code into the body of your post. That's it!"

Feel free to leave a comment on the interview or leave a note in the all-new CHAT BOX that I just added. It's on the right side; just type your name and leave a message. Please note: your message can't be longer than 200 characters.

Well, I think that about wraps up politics and general updates. I'll end with a modified quote:

"Truth is stranger than fiction . . .

And people wonder why I read books so much."
