The former's rally is for rationality, the latter's, to keep fear alive. Now, I really don't care which has a higher turnout, because they both seem to be trying to do the same thing.
WAKE UP AMERICA!!
Luckily, the elections are showing that a lot of people share my opinion that things need to change. Very few incumbants won and very few Democrats won. Also, during the campaign ads I've seen, almost none of the candidates are identifying themselves with a certain party. They are all saying that they're a conservative.
Still, the voter turnout was low. It seems that even though people are aware of the fact that our country is in trouble, they are not doing anything about it.
In what universe does sitting on a couch staring at a TV make a difference in the long run?
If you didn't vote in the primaries, vote in November!!!
And just because I'm in a very good mood, I'll end with one of my favorite quotes from Jon Stewart in relation to him reacting to old news.
"I'm not reacting to the new-ness of it. I'm reacting to the ****ed-up-ness of it."
