This post will deal with various observations I've made and what I think about the odd and ends of America. (Most people need to just throw their voices out there once in a while, you know?)
1. The new Oil Spill Cleanup Operation is named "Static Kill". I started laughing because it was so stupid. We have that already! Look at all the junk that's blasted on TV: who's getting married, who's cheating on who, what kind of dress is she wearing to her wedding, etc. Not to mention all the tabloid magazines.
Side comment: How could someone be proud of being paparazzi? Or a critic? But I've got to admit, being a critic would be better, as long as you stay open-minded. (Like that ever happens nowadays.)
2. Whatever happened to balanced news coverage? I think it's FOX News who, after previewing the story, say, "We'll hear from both sides." Alright; I'll give you credit for reporting both viewpoints. At least they make an effort where some other networks remain biased. But how often is the news 50% depressing and 50% hopeful? I'd like a little ray of hope to hold on to, what with how messed up the USA is.
Side comment: I don't care what dog the Obamas are getting! I care more about how common sense seems nonexistent in a world that just blindly follows their leader.
My point is, I'm trying to fix this messed-up world. However, seeing as how I'm just one person from a small Midwest town, I'm going to need some help.
Enter Ted Nugent, Green Day, Jon Stewart, Lewis Black, Ron White, and Lou Holtz.
Do not enter: Lady GaGa, Miley Cyrus, George W. Bush, and the majority of Democrats.
Hopefully the differences between between those two lists are obvious. One should be idolized, one should not. And hopefully someone other than myself is reading this blog.
Thanks for visiting. You may return to your TV now.
Don't want to be an American idiot
One nation controlled by the media
Information age of hysteria
It's calling out to idiot America
